The 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a toe tap trigger in creating a bat exit velocity of 86 mph. Wansack showed some gap power and the ability to drive the baseball to all fields.

6/12/13 Wansack is an athletic outfielder with a projectable frame at 6-foot, 180-pounds. He showed fluid actions in the outfield and a strong outfield arm on throws of 85 mph to the plate. Wansack utilized a square stance and a toe tap trigger to barrel the baseball consistently during his round of batting practice. He showcased a bat exit velocity of 84 mph and went 0-for-5 in game play despite squaring the baseball in a number of at bats.

1/19/13 Wansack was one of the top underclassmen at the event. He displayed his athleticism by running the 2nd fastest 60-yard dash of the day at 7.10. Wansack showed athletic actions and good carry on throws of 77 mph from the outfield. Offensively the 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitter used a 79 mph bat exit velocity and a short stroke to consistently square the baseball to all fields.
