8/20/17
5-foot-11, 145 pounds, athletic and wiry build. His shoulders are broad and should allow him to add strength during the offseason. He works from a high ¾ slot from the right hand side on the mound. His hands start letter high before progressing into his delivery. His movements are controlled and deliberate, working with intent. His stays inline and has good extension. Crafty, Padovich will vary his pace in game action, throwing off the timing of opposing batters. The fastball sat 76-79 mph with late life and some bore. Showed good control of the pitch and an ability to get ahead in counts. His curveball is an out pitch, he knows how to spin it for swinging strikes between 71-74 mph. His changeup is still a work in progress at 72 mph with some drop, needs further refinement. Overall, Padovich is a competitor with the stuff to make it work and is worth monitoring during the offseason.

8-9-17
5-foot-11, 145-pound, average athletic frame. The back is wide, limbs are long, has room to fill out and put mass on. A right-handed pitcher, with a three pitch arsenal, pounded the zone with all three. The delivery is quick, attacks at a fierce pace. The hands stay at the midsection throughout, direction with lead leg is inline. The glove side has some pull to it, gets extension on the release. The arm action is longer on the backside, opens it early at times, arm works out if a high ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 75-78 mph, located it in the bottom of the zone. The curveball is his best pitch, break is late and thrown hard at 70-73 mph. The changeup has more floating action to it, drops at the backend, clocked at 72 mph. Times to the plate are very quick at 1.12, attacks quick with slide step at times, disrupting timing of the hitter. Good follow competes at a very high level.
