1/16/17 - Max FB: 85, FB: 84-85, CB: 64-65, CH: 73-75,
6-foot-2, 195-pound, LHP works quickly on the mound and utilizes some short and efficient movements, leg lift is a little higher but his shoulders remain even throughout his delivery, strides in line and jumps at the plate with a short but quick and explosive arm action through a high ¾ slot, finishes balanced and under control as his strength allows him to maintain body control.  Fastball was mostly straight with some occasional late run, curveball showed 1/7 shape, changeup actually had some cut at times.

1/16/17 - 60 Time: 7.13, Position Velocity:  OF-87, Exit Velocity: 93
6-foot-2, 195-pound, LHH is one of the top outfielders in the 2018 class, Future Games participant has continued to develop and improve his game in every single area.  Hits from a balanced and even stance with his hands loosely cocked just below his back armpit to start, uses a slightly abbreviated leg kick and stride with a subtle movement of his hands to get loaded, lower half gets a little closed with his stride but still fires well to clear his hips and create some separation, swing plane is flat through the zone with some lift at the end that could produce some real power.  Defensively, showed soft hands and fluid footwork in the outfield, played through the ball aggressively and with confidence, exchange was efficient and led to a shorter but quick arm action through a high ¾ slot.

6/14/16 - 60 Time: 7.43, Position Velocity:  OF-84, Exit Velocity: 83
6'1, 202-pound, LHH hits from an athletic and slightly open stance and uses a quick up and down leg kick to get his swing going. Hands move a lot during pre-pitch setup, but doesn’t really load them a whole lot at the beginning of the actual swing.  Good swing path with some lift that helps him create gap-to-gap power, tends to hold back his lower half and get handsy at times, strong kid with some pop. Defensively, Lubas works through the ball really aggressively and showed some good arm strength out of his short arm action and ¾ release.

6/14/16 - Max FB: 84, FB: 79-83, CH: 74, 74-75 Slider
6'1, 202-pound, LHP uses a lot of movement and some quirky mechanics to produce a delivery that really jumps at hitters, closed stride and short and quick arm action add to deception and make it even harder on hitters.  Shows an over-the-top release as fastball is mostly straight for a lot of strikes, slider is his best breaking ball with some very sharp 2/8 movement, changeup fades in the zone.  Lubas struck out 3 hitters in 2 innings of work.

1/31/16 - Home-1st: 4.86, Position Velocity:  OF-86, Exit Velocity: 84
6-foot-2, 202-pound LHH had one of the most impressive overall performances of the event. Looks to drive the ball with every swing, balanced stance, aggressive leg kick trigger, physically advanced and uses strength in swing, hands are quick and loose, significant lift at contact, good pull-side power. Shows athletic outfield actions, works through the ball well, over the top release, loos and athletic arm with well above average arm strength. Lubas projects as a power-hitting corner outfielder. High-level 2018 prospect.
Max FB: 82, FB: 80-81, CB: 69-73, CH: 71-73, KN: 69-74
As a pitcher, with strong frame uses shorter arm action through an over the top slot, arm shows some quickness, normal effort in delivery, fastball mostly straight and thrown for consistent strikes, shows good feel for his curveball that has solid 12/6 action, changeup shows good late sink and fade at times with good velocity difference off the fastball. Also showed a knuckleball with late movement. Lubas is a very interesting prospect who also impressed as one of the top position players at the event.
