6/10/15 - 6-foot-2, 185-pound RHP with good pitcher’s frame, uses long arm action and arm slot has dropped slightly to a ¾ slot which creates some arm-side run to his fastball, fastball sat 75-76 mph touching 78 on one occasion, shows good feel for his 63-65 mph curveball that has good depth and 11/5 action, can locate fastball more consistently down in the zone to be more effective, allowed six hits and four runs with one strikeout in his two innings of work.
2/7/15 - The 6 foot 1 ,180-pound RHP uses long arm action with a high-3/4 arm slot, didn’t show as good of command on this occasion but have seen it from him in the past, fastball was straight at 76-78 mph (have seen up to 82), his curveball showed late 11/5 action at times and ranged from 67-68 mph, throws his 71-73 mph changeup with good arm speed, changeup is mainly straight.
1/17/15 - Jackson a 6 foot 1,180-pound RHP, showed some projectability with an athletic build, good rhythm and balance on the mound, uses long arm action thorough a high ¾ slot, minimal effort in delivery, fastball ranged from 75-78 mph with some arm-side run and sink , sharp curveball is his best pitch at 65-66 mph with 11/5 action, shows feel for his 69-71 mph changeup thrown with good arm action, pounds the strike zone with all three pitches, have seen fastball up to 82 mph at previous event.
11/1/14 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound with lanky frame and room to fill out, uses long arm action through high- 3/4 arm slot, fastball sat at 77-82 mph with good command, arm side run and sink, curveball sat at 64-69 mph and shows to be his best secondary offering with tight spin and sharp 11/5 action, 72-73 mph change-up with good arm action, gave up one hit and one strikeout during his two innings of work.
