1/29/17 - Max FB: 81, FB: 77-81, CB: 67-71, CH: 68-69,
6-foot-2, 175-pound, RHP showed the same fundamentals we saw from him at the Unsigned Senior Games back in September, stays loose and calculated throughout his entire delivery with his long and lanky build, gets down the mound with that length and strides mostly in line, long and loose arm action comes through a high ¾ release point.  Fastball actually showed some cut on occasion, curveball had 11/5 to 12/6 shape with consistent movement, changeup was mostly straight as a change of pace.

1/29/17 - Home-1st: 4.53, Position Velocity:  OF-85, Exit Velocity: 83
6-foot-2, 175-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and even stance with his hands resting the bat just behind his back ear to begin, uses a toe-tap and stride with a smooth movement down and back with his hands to get loaded, lower half worked very much the same as we saw from him at the Unsigned Senior Games in the fall by clearing his hips but pulling him tall, bat path remains flat, long arms try to get extended, at his best when he stays up the middle.  Defensively, moved athletically in the outfield by showing smooth footwork and good hands while playing through the ball athletically, arm action is longer through a high ¾ slot, throws had solid carry.

9/18/16 - 60 Time: 7.2, Position Velocity:  OF-83, Exit Velocity: 82
6-foot-2, 160-pound, RHH  hits from a balanced and even stance and begins with some subtle hand movement, used a toe-tap and stride at times and a regular stride others with the same subtle hand movement backwards to get loaded, lower half gets through but still stays tall, stays mostly balanced throughout his swing but somewhat comes up through it, can get on front foot, bat path is pretty flat but can get armsy, hit a lot more balls hard up the middle than we have seen previously.  Defensively, played  through the ball well with good hands and footwork and used a clean exchange to help produce a long and clean arm action through a high ¾ to over-the-top release point to produce accurate throws with solid arm strength and more carry than normal.

9/18/16 - Max FB: 80, FB: 77-80, CB: 62-65, CH: 66-68,
6-foot-2, 160-pound, RHP was mostly the same pitcher we saw at the East Tennessee Prospect Games with a little more polish, threw strikes with the first six pitches of his bullpen and seemed to do it with ease, stays loose throughout his delivery and does a good job of getting down the mound and closer to the hitter, natural arm action comes through that high ¾ slot with low effort and balance in his finish.  Fastball stayed mostly straight but was thrown on the corners for strikes, curveball showed some gradual 11/5 shape, changeup had some fade in the zone.

9/4/16 - Max FB: 79, FB: 75-77, CB: 65-66,
6-foot-2, 175-pound, RHP uses a consistent tempo throughout his motion that allows him to stay smooth and loose, pulls his knee to his chest in his leg lift and get some slight shoulder tilt before heading toward the plate, strides in line with the plate and finished in a balanced position a majority of the time, loose arm action comes through a high ¾ slot.  Fastball was mostly straight but was kept down pretty well, curveball showed 12/6 to 11/5 shape with gradual movement through the zone, threw both pitches for strikes.

9/4/16 - Home-1st: 4.6, Position Velocity:  OF-84, Exit Velocity: 83
6-foot-2, 175-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and even stance and begins with some subtle hand movement, used a toe-tap and stride that we’ve never seen from him in past events and that same subtle hand movement backwards to get loaded, lower half gets through but stays so tall it almost pushes his body up through the zone, bat path is pretty flat but can get armsy from time to time, pulled a lot.  Defensively, played  through the ball well with good hands and footwork and used a clean exchange to help produce a long and clean arm action through a high ¾ to over-the-top release point to produce accurate throws with decent arm strength.

6/15/16 - 60 Time: 6.98, Position Velocity:  OF-83, Exit Velocity: 82
6'2, 175-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and even stance, although he was slightly closed during game play.  Willie starts with his front foot pointed inward and uses a short stride and minimal hand movement to get himself loaded.  Lower half gets through but stays pretty tall throughout his swing while getting a little lower could add some leverage, staying so tall also causes his bat path to be steep through the hitting zone, he was able to flatten out and drive some pitches that were up in the zone during his round of BP, stayed balanced and could use his long arms for some more extension.  Defensively, had some of the best footwork from the outfield of anyone at the event, used quick and choppy steps to attack the ball and pace its arrival, played through the ball fluidly with good hands and used a slower exchange with a glove pat and a short arm action to get rid of the ball, used a high ¾ release point to delivery throws with some accuracy and above average arm strength.

6/15/16 - Max FB: 80, FB: 77-80, CB: 68-69,
6'2, 175-pound, RHP begins with a long rocker step to the side and covers a lot of ground with that left leg as he pulls it up to get very closed before heading to the plate, hands stay high the whole time as he gathers at the top and gets some slight shoulder tilt and a little drop into his backside before heading home with the pitch, long arm action through a high ¾ release point stays under control and helps him land in line with good balance.  Fastball stayed mostly straight through the zone, curveball showed 11/5 action and the ability to be thrown for strikes.

1/31/16 - Max FB: 81, FB: 77-79, CB: 62-66, CH: 66-70,
6-foot-2, 175-pound RHP, good pitcher’s frame with projection, uses long arm action and works through an over the top slot with regular effort, good tempo in delivery, showed the ability to pound the strike zone with all pitches, two-seam fastball shows arm-side run, curveball has solid depth and threw some with sharp 11/5 action, good feel for changeup and stays behind it well to produce good sink and fade with deception off the fastball, would not be surprised to see velocity gains from the projectable right-hander.
Home-1st: 4.71, Position Velocity:  OF-83, Exit Velocity: 80
As a position player, RHH hits from a balanced stance, leg kick trigger, short stride, wrap in load creates some length in swing, level path, average bat speed, line drive type hitter. Plays through the ball well with athletic actions, long high-3/4 release, arm is loose and athletic, solid arm strength with more likely to come, should continue to fill in projectable frame leading to some power potential at the plate.
