1/17/15 - The 6 foot 2, 210-pound prospect has a strong frame and lower half, works through a high-3/4 to over-the-top arm slot, has some effort in delivery, quick arm, fastball ranged from 80-84 mph, fastball topped out at 86 mph once, fastball had some arm-side run to it, sharp curveball around 70-72 mph with 12/6 action, changeup sat 72-74 mph, has good feel for three pitches, showed a velocity increase from previous event in early November when he topped at 84 mph, definite mound prospect to keep an eye on.  As a position player, The 6 foot 2, 210-pound prospect has a with a big, strong build, had an exit velocity off the tee of 83 mph, ran a 4.65 home to first base time, hit from an open and spread setup, had a smooth back load, short stride, good balance, fast bat speed, aggressive approach, swing path generates natural lift, power type hitter. Position velocity 82 mph across the infield, had soft hands, good footwork, clean exchange,interesting prospect to keep an eye on with potential to be left-handed power bat at the next level.
11/1/14 - 6-foot-1, 205-pound prospect is a big strong body type. Hits from a slight crouch spread stance, generates good body torque with 84 mph bat velocity to show middle of the line-up power potential, good extension through the zone, explosive lower half, maintains good balance, notable batting practice, hit most balls squarely, drove ball well to the gaps, ran 4.68 home to first time, 0-for-3 in game play. Uses long arm action, high-¾ arm slot, 78 mph arm velocity with carry to the bag, good foot work around the bag, flashed sure hands. One to add to your 2016 watch list.  On the mound, uses over the top arm angle, fastball sat 80-84 mph, good arm side run, curveball is a hammer that sat 68-75 mph with sharp 12/6 shape and late hard action, started strong, lost command but finished strong in his two innings, gave up no hits and struck out 2. Repeatable delivery with some effort.
