7/25/21

Cape Cod- High three-quarters righthander with a heavy, low-spin (2000 rpm) fastball at 90-92. His calling card is a solid-average slider at 83-85 mph (2400 rpm) that he could throw for a strike and also got some swing/miss. With a moderate effort delivery and fringe control, the 6-foot-3, 205-pounder has a reliever profile at the next level.

2/22/18

6’2/185, Freshman. Athletic and projectable with a sound delivery and clean arm action. Showed solid downplane from H3/4 slot. Fastball ranged from 90-93 mph with average life. Showed more control than command in his first college appearance. Slider flashed average at 80-83 mph. Good one to watch develop for the ‘20 draft.

10/25/15 - The 6 foot 2, 170-pound prospect posted a 7.48 60 time and had a 74 mph position velocity from behind the plate (77 at previous event). Defensively Peavyhouse shows short arm action with a quick release, consistently accurate throws, average arm strength, soft hands receiving the ball, footwork stays online but has room to be quicker, has a clean exchange and had  2.06-2.09 pop times. Offensively Peavyhouse  posted a 77 mph exit velocity off the tee, hits from an open setup, has a short stride, gets some use out of his lower half, mid to opposite field approach and does a good job of taking the outside pitch the other way, Peavyhouse went 1 for 4 during game play.

2/7/15 - The 6 foot 2, 170-pound catcher ran a 7.48 60 yard dash time run and had a position velocity of 77 mph, defensively Peavyhouse had  2.01-2.09 pop times with good arm strength, did a good job receiving the ball, handled high-80’s velocity well. At the plate Peavyhouse  hits from an open setup and has a short stride, has average bat speed and showed an opposite field approach in his round of batting practice, had an exit velocity off the tee of 80 mph.
