Spetter has a projectable 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame. The right-handed hitter has an athletic, balanced swing with life in his hands and a loose finish. He made hard contact and showed a line drive approach as he gets the barrel from back to front. Defensively, he threw 73 mph from behind the plate and posted pop times of 2.04-2.19. He has efficient, repeatable footwork as he gains ground with a short exchange into his throwing motion. Accurate thrower and the arm works well on his release out front. On the mound, the right-hander works from a ¾ slot with a clean, easy, elbow-dominant arm stroke. Athletic lower half in the delivery with arm working well from back-to-front projects for more velocity in the future. His fastball ranged from 78-81 mph. He was able to throw his curveball for strikes with good depth and 11-5 downer shape at 67-69 mph. His changeup has some depth at 70-72 mph. With his projectable frame, athletic lower half, and good arm action, look for Spetter to make jumps throughout the summer/fall season, both as a pitcher and position player.
