Attacked the strikezone and showed good command for an early appearance, pitching down in the zone. Fastball has slight run on the pitch was 80-82 touching 83 on the day in the cold conditions. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape, with tight spin and sharper action on the pitch at 65-67. Commanded pitch within strikezone well, kept hitter off balance throughout game with the pitch.
