3.30.16:  Ager is a tall righty with an athletic frame. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. His arm action is long and quick, generating velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are slightly closed and uphill as he strides out to a slightly open landing before falling off as he finishes. Ager’s fastball has good plane to it, cuts a bit when thrown glove side, and runs a bit when thrown armside. His fastball sat 84-87 the entire game, touching 88 once. His changeup had sink with some run, sitting 78-81. His curveball ran 69-71 with sharp 12/6 break, biting harder at the higher end of the range.
6.13.15:  Ager was 85 to 87 with his fastball and touched a 89 a few times. He showed a sinking changeup with decent armspeed that ran 70. His curveball ran 69-72 on the day. His command was better than it was in his previous outing, but Lafayette did a good job of putting balls in play and attacking fastballs early in the count, getting four hits and three runs off of Ager in three innings of work.

6.6.15:
Ager is a tall right-hander with an athletic frame. He throws from a high arm slot that is almost straight over the top. He has a drop and drive delivery and a long, loose arm action that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are high and closed and he lands square before falling off slightly. Ager was dominant in his first three innings of work, sitting 84-87 with his fastball and touching 88. He commanded the pitch well to both sides of the plate and throws it with great plane. The pitch has sink and cuts a bit when thrown to his glove side. Ager’s curveball has hard 12/6 action that ran 70-71. His outing was cut short in the fourth when he lost the strike zone.
