2.22.15 Baird has a lanky frame and throws from a low three-quarters slot. He is hunched over at high balance and has long arm action. He stays on line through release to an athletic finish. Baird’s fastball sat 72-75 mph, touching 76 mph with late heavy run and sink on it. His slider has 10/4 action with gradual break to it and ran 61-63 mph. Baird threw a fading change-up that ran 61-65 mph.

7.14.15 Baird has a lanky frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. He has a long arm action and generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are level and he lands closed before falling off after release. Baird’s fastball had slight sink to it and was up most of the day, running 71-76. His curveball had late 11/5 break and ran 61-63. He threw a sinking changeup with decent armspeed that ran 64-69.
