6/23/19:A true freshman from Virginia, he has a 6-foot-2, 180 pound build with room to fill out. He can fly on the bases, stealing nine bags through just seven games and moves well in the dirt with an above average arm. Very simple, quiet swing allows him to spray the ball and use his speed to make things happen. He does not have any extra base hits to this point, and only had 15 this spring, but the ability to drive the ball gap to gap will come with his size.. Projects to stick at SS. Kent controls his barrel and did it all year at Virginia, hitting a cool .337. Big time upside and player to watch moving forward for the 2021 draft. (DeGagne)
Kent is an athletic middle infielder with a projectable 6-2 frame. He is a very good defender with a developing bat.
