2.22.15 Hit from an open stance.  Had a smooth load that bat wrapped slightly.  Rhythm was fluid and allowed him to get the barrel to the ball consistently.  Stride was short with a slight leg kick.  Balance was excellent during entire swing.  Had average bat speed with a good approach that allowed him to hit the ball to all 3 parts of the field.  Exit velocity was 76 mph.  Swing path was short and level.  Should allow him to be a line drive, gap to gap hitter.  In the field, he threw from a high ¾ arm slot with accuracy.  His Positional velocity was 70 mph.  He showed decent hands with clean exchanges.

7/31/14:  5-foot-8, 135 pound, MIF, hit from a vertical balanced stance.  Showed good rhythm with his hands and utilized a small tap step for both added rhythm and separation.  Used his hands very well to attack and stay inside of the baseball.  Stayed very balanced throughout the swing.  In the field, Marstellar showed good actions with his feet and hands.  He was able to get to the baseball and used proper angles.  He also had soft hands, a loose arm, and quick release.
