2016 Super 60 - Arizona State recruit. 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame, sturdy-athletic build, proportional strength with room for continued physical development. Repeatable athletic delivery, good tempo and feel, works down the mound well, advanced three-pitch mix, strike-thrower with all three. Arm action is clean and loose, quick strong arm, high-3/4 slot. Fastball topped at 92 mph, sat 87-90, late arm-side finish, heavier feel. Advanced feel for changeup, thrown aggressively with fastball arm speed, 78-81 mph, with sinking action. Curveball ranged between 70-73 mph, shows depth, hard, late break, overall good feel for pitch.

9.5.15 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed pitcher with a strong frame. Arizona State commit. Currently ranked No. 6 in the Wisconsin Class of 2016 and No. 85 in PBR Overall Ranks. Came in relief for the Reds and worked the final four innings. Works from a high ¾ arm slot with a long arm action. Tall and fall delivery with a closed landing and slight crossfire action. Early on in the outing sat 85-87 mph. Settled in at 82-84  mph in the final three innings. Soft curveball at 67-70 mph, with sweeping action when he throws it with conviction. Changeup showed armside run at 74-77 mph.

6/12/15- Verbally committed to Arizona State

3/15/15- Plus athletic frame, 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed pitcher, lean strength, well proportioned. One of the best available 2016 pitchers in the Midwest. High level arm with possible draft follow in 2016. Repeatable athletic delivery, good tempo and feel, pounds the one with three pitches. Arm action is clean and loose, quick strong arm, high ¾ slot, projectable. Fastball has late finish, occasionally heavier feel, sat 90-92 mph, good control with the ability to command it. Advanced secondary stuff matches fastball. Curveball has depth, mostly 11/5 action, hard late breaking ball with power feel, 71-73 mph. Excellent feel for changeup, fastball arm speed, good sinking action, ability to command, swing and miss potential, 77-80 mph. High follow prospect should be one of the more coveted arms currently in the 2016 class.

10/25/14 - Highly athletic frame, 6-foot-2, 185-pound two-way player, projects really well, long legs, slightly barrel chested. Excellent upside on the mound. Tall and fall delivery, easy effort, stays on line with repeatable rhythm and tempo, squared landing and athletic finish. Arm action is free and clean, loose arm action from a high ¾ slot, comes out easy. Fastball has sink and showed the ability to command it, sat 87 mph, one 85 mph from the stretch and finished touching 88 mph from the windup. Curveball has 11/5 shape, ranged 68-74 mph, occasionally gets around it, showed the ability to spin it well. Changeup has fastball arm action, excellent sinking action, kept at the bottom of the zone, 76-78 mph with advanced action and feel. Marsh is a high follow in the 2016 class.

3/16/14 - 6-foot-2, 185-pound two-way player with an athletic frame and long legs, projects well. At the plate hits from a balanced, slightly open stance, short stride, solid lower half involvement, quality balance. Has line drive swing with gap-to-gap coverage, fluid rhythm and loose hands, quick swing that generates lift and barrel whip. Exit velocity was 81 mph off the tee. At third base he plays through balls athletically with sound hands and clean exchanges. Arm works short, high ¾ slot, 72 mph across the diamond. Posted a 4.43 home to first time. On the mound he uses a tall and fall delivery with clean lines, some rhythm, regular effort. Arm works quick and loose, high ¾ slot. Fastball was 79-82 mph for consistent strikes. Changeup was a quality off speed offering, sitting 69-73 mph with sink. Curveball has 11/5 shape, sitting 66-67 mph.

4/30/19: Proportional frame at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds with a strong, durable build. Uses a simple, low effort delivery with consistent direction toward his target and a short stride. No funky movements or real deception to his throwing motion. Short, compact arm action with constant elbow bend does hide the ball slightly and allow velocity to play up a bit at times. Had arguably the worst start of his season on this look. Only lasted 2 innings and posted a line of 9 H, 9 ER, 2 BB and 3 SO. Prior to that, his shortest outing in 10 other starts was 5.0 IP. While the appearance was brief, he did flash four offerings that flashed average when thrown at their best. Fastball ranged 89-93 and sat mostly 90-91. No real movement or wiggle on the offering. Most effective when he can get extended out to his glove side to keep it away from RHH and in on LHH. The curveball has 11/5 shape with sharpness to it at 75-76. Grades to be at least average when thrown at its best. Slider wasn't effective at 78-81. Pulled it out of the zone too often. Has potential as a chase pitch, but Marsh wasn't ahead in the count often enough to utilize it that way. Lastly, the changeup came in at 81-83 and early on appeared that it would be a reliable secondary offering for him. Features quality speed differential from FB and late arm-side fade. Overall, Marsh has a strong build, throws with sustainable effort and flashed glimpses of having four average to near-average offerings. Doesn't have any plus pitches in his arsenal but he's proven he can be a reliable performer when he's on with 2-3 of his offerings. (Jurik)
