In the infield showed off arm strength with athletic actions, throwing 86 mph across the infield. Offensively hits from an upright, slightly open stance with a smooth load and leg kick stride. Fluid rhythm with a short, level swing path and a fast bat. Went 1-2 in game with a single. Showed strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Home to first at 4.33. One of the top uncommitted position players in the state.

9.5.15 - 6-foot, 175-pound athletically built right-handed hitting outfielder one of the best available unsigned seniors in the state of Wisconsin took an upper 80’s fastball deep to left-field for a no doubt solo home-run. Slightly open stance, rhythm throughout swing. Bat stays through the zone a long time and creates leverage and a lot of pull-side pop for his size. Hit a two RBI triple to left-center field in his third at-bat of the game. Also, has ran a 6.76 60 yard dash at a previous event.

3/15/15 - 6-foot, 170-pound, right-handed hitting shortstop with an athletic build. In the field has a long, loose arm action from a high 3/4 arm slot. Showed carry on throws with fluid footwork and flashed soft hands. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions. Threw 82 mph across the infield. At the plate hits from an upright, open stance with a short leg kick stride. Line-drive, gap-to-gap hitter with a short, level swing path and fluid rhythm. Carew shows and advanced approach at the plate with a fast bat. Showed strength thru contact with 89 mph exit velocity from a tee. Solid runner, running the 60 at 6.76.

3/16/14 - 6-foot, 165-pound shortstop, athletic build with length. Offensively hits from an open stance, short leg lift trigger. Made consistent contact, repeats his swing, well above average bat speed. Path is short to the baseball, line drive gap to gap type hitter. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed athleticism, moved well, arm action is loose, 74 mph across the diamond. Feet move well, got out of the box, 4.19 runner down the line. Carew is a high follow in the class of 2016 with solid projection.
