Naturally strong throughout, Berg works uphill through the zone from the left side, and is balanced throughout with fast hands and some lag in the zone. Behind the plate he has a strong arm with carry on his throws to second base with developing footwork and transfer skills. The bat has continued to progress quickly, and he had some of the best at-bats of the day.
