9.5.15 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound solidly built left-handed pitcher. Quick arm with the ability to really spin the baseball. Late life on his fastball which sat 83-86 mph. Also, flashed a big bender of a curveball, true 12/6 shape at times, 70-73 mph with tight spin and when good has a lot of depth. Threw four innings and had his way on the mound. Did not give up a hit and finished with six strikeouts. Knueppel is committed to Gonzaga.
3/15/15- 6-foot-1, 185-pound, left-handed pitcher. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short, loose, quick arm action. Turns lower half to load hips over rubber. Online delivery with a slightly closed landing and level shoulders. Fastball sat 82-84 mph. Curveball  has 1-7 shape with some depth at 67-71 mph. Changeup flashed sink at 75-77 mph. High follow LHP
3/16/14 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound two-way player, athletic build. Higher prospect on the mound, young left handed arm with projection. Delivery is athletic and repeatable, works directionally. Arm action is quick, easy arm action, loose, high ¾ slot. Fastball showed advanced feel, slightly heavier action, showed the ability to command the baseball. Curveball had 11/5 shape, flashed occasional 12/6 action, has depth and action, showed tight spin with bite, control of the zone, 67-69 mph. Changeup has feel, sinking action, near fastball arm speed, controlled the zone. Defensively has a short arm action from the outfield, high ¾, 78 mph from the outfield, works slightly uphill. Offensively hits from a balanced setup, taller, slightly open stance. Short opposite field approach, 78 mph exit velocity from the tee. Above average foot speed, 4.07 runner home to first. High follow prospect in Wisconsin’s 2016 class.

7/23/13 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound two-way player is highly projectable on the mound. Left-handed thrower has feel for all three pitches and utilized each effectively in his outing in the Top Prospect Games. Knueppel has clean, repeatable mechanics with an effortless tall-and-fall delivery. He has a high balance point and lands closed, finishing athletically. His arm works well with loose high ¾ action. Knueppel showed control of his fastball at 77-80 mph featuring occasional cut. His curveball had pronounced 11/5 break at 68-71 mph with control and his changeup sat 72-73 mph. Offensively, hits from the left side recording four hits in six at-bats through two of the Top Prospect Games – one well-placed bunt for a hit, two doubles, three RBI (one of which late in a tie game). From the outfield his arm showed some carry at 77 mph with accuracy, fielding through the ball. Knueppel is a high prospect to follow as he continues to mature.
3/3/13 - Athletic frame, has some length, 5-foot-10, 144-pound left handed two way player. On the mound young left hander shows a high projection. Delivery is repeatable, solid balance throughout, effortless delivery, throws slightly across body, hides the ball well. Arm action is easy, high ¾ arm slot, clean arm action, works well. Fastball has cut action, showed control, 75-77 mph. Curveball had occasional 11/5 action, still needs refinement, left up in the zone. Changeup flashed fading action 63-66 mph. High follow on the mound, arm action is clean and shows the ability to gain velocity. Offensively hits from an open stance, slightly dives to the plate. Uphill tendencies in bat path, some extension, slight stiffness in hands. Defensively arm worked at 79 mph from the outfield, loose arm action. Plays through the baseball well, feet work athletically.
