The California State Games ID (Norcal) Showcase is set for Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Islanders Field in Lathrop, California. The event is open to class of 2022-2024 players.

The showcase will be used to grant invitations to the NorCal v SoCal California State Games in July, the Prep Baseball Report Future Games in July and other Invite-Only events on the calendar, in addition to serving the function of all our showcases, that being for players' exposure, data, stats, video, and building out a deeper baseball profile.

At the event, players will receive a PBR shirt, video, stats. We will publish post event notes that include workout highlights and more. The format of the event will be a traditional showcase style workout.

This event will be covered thoroughly via the website, with verified statistics, positional rankings, and overall rankings. Players' videos will be hosted in their online profile at www.PrepBaseballReport.com.

If you have any questions about the event or anything PBR California related, please feel free to reach out to Blaine Clemmens at clemmens@prepbaseballreport.com

THE ENTIRE EVENT WILL BE LIVE STREAMED - SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION

THIS IS A SINGLE DAY EVENT

The format of the event will include a traditional showcase workout. Pitchers will throw a bullpen consisting of 15-20 pitches for their workout session. TrackMan and Blast Motion will also be utilized to collect data on each and every player. CLICK HERE to learn more about the technology at PBR Events

The State Games ID (Norcal) is important because all the players will receive:

- Player profile in PBR database visible and searchable to the over 900 college coaches across the country who subscribe to PBR.

- Verified data from Trackman and Blast Motion. Players will receive access to this data post event.

- Post event content on PBR California website, driven by the gathered statistical data

- Access to all individual video from event. VIDEOS ARE DOWNLOADABLE VIA THE PROSPECT PLUS SUBSCRIPTION

Subscribed players and families will have the ability to share the links to their profiles with any college coach of their choosing. For schools, both near and far, this will allow coaches to evaluate the player with real numbers that they can trust.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

If the event reaches a a certain number of registrants then we will operate with two sessions that day, morning and afternoon. Each session would be limited to 30 participants with the focus being on following physical distancing guidelines set forth by the host facility. Hopefully by June those restrictions are lessened.

Participants will be assigned to a specific group; each group with a specific check-in time. Those specific group listings will be organized and disseminated to all participants in advance of the event.

There will be specific guidelines and protocols in effect and communicated on site, both from the host facility and from PBR, including waivers to be signed by a parent/guardian of each player.

WAIVERS WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU IN ADVANCE OF THE EVENT. PLEASE FILL OUT AND BRING WITH YOU THE CAMP.

Live-Streaming Video Connects You to Coaches

The COVID pandemic created uncertainty in the recruiting/scouting world. More than ever, coaches are depending on PBR for player video and information.

This event will include live-streaming video that will be archived and accessible to college coaches from across the nation. (*All players will still received edited video from their workout placed in their profile).

We will provide multiple camera angles during BP: open side of each hitter as well as behind home plate. Pitchers will be streamed from behind the catcher. Coaches will have the ability to watch game play live or go back and watch game video in "DVR" fashion.

Here are the details (they were amended in January by the provider, Sports Channel Media): Go to our link (Norcal channel in the drop down channel) and you can purchase access from there. The products are $10 for 5 days of live access only and $20 for 5 days of all access (live, video replay, create clips and downloads). https://pbr.sportschannel.media/

You can expect the list of subscribers to continue to grow substantially over the summer. Here is a quick tease... Santa Clara, UC Santa Barbara, Nevada, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Wake Forest, UNC, South Carolina, Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana, UConn, Georgia Tech, Duke, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, and more! Yes, those are not West Coast schools... but the West is watching too, from up and down the coast. These schools were among those who were watching the CA State Games in 2020:  LMU, Oregon, SDSU, LBSU, Cal Baptist, USD, UC San Diego, Pacific... and we know there were more.
