The Florida Super Sophomore Games is the premier scouting event for Class of 2027 prospects.
Players will also receive maximum visibility on a premier college campus, in addition to being promoted through the Prep Baseball multimedia platforms.
Players in attendance will go through a pro-style workout and play multiple games over the two-day span. On Saturday, the first day of the event, all position players will be put through a showcase workout in which they will run 60s, take batting practice, and be evaluated defensively at their primary position.
Players participating in the Super Sophomore Games will receive the PBR Tech Package which includes TrackMan hitting and pitching metrics, Blast Motion swing metrics, and Swift laser running times.
PBR and Mizuno are partnered to provide players quality products at our youth and high school-aged events across the country – and the Super Sophomore Games will be no different. Players will be given Mizuno baseball gear to wear during the two-day event.

ROSTERS
Prep Baseball state directors used Preseason showcases over the winter to begin developing a list of players to consider inviting to participate in the Florida Super Sophomore Games. Each state will be using the spring high school season and summer events like the Future Games Trials to further fill out the roster for U Miami in early August.
If we have never seen you at a showcase before, we recommend attending a Future Games Trial this summer so we may evaluate you for an invite. Rosters will update on this page as the season rolls on and we get closer to the 2024 Super Sophomore Games.
Stay to Play
This is a two-day Stay to Play event. If you are not local to the Miami area, you must book a hotel through our Group Book Hotel Block. The event will start at 8:30 AM on Saturday, November 23.

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements. Grip Strength Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road. |
