Kentucky Rising Star Games
Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green will play host to this year's Rising Star Games Event! This event will feature Class of 2026 and 2027 players in a workout and game play vying to earn an opportunity to be selected for Team Kentucky for the PBR Junior Future Games at Lakepoint (GA) in late July. Lakepoint is the premier baseball facility in the country! Team Kentucky will square off against other very talented PBR state teams from around the country. There will be separate Class of 2026 and 2027 teams selected.
Players will be assigned to a team for the event. The position player showcase will take place on the field prior to game play. Each team will take extended infield/outfield and batting practice in a pro-style workout. Video will be shot of position players during the position player workout. Game play will take place following the position player workout affording the PBR staff to see players in game situations. Videos will be shot of pitchers throwing live in game play. All stats, measurables, and videos from the event will be hosted in each player's profile on the PBR website. The event will be featured on the PBR website which is subscribed to by more than 900 college coaches and pro scouts around the country.

Class of 2026 and 2027 players will be selected to represent Team KY 14U and Team KY 13U at the premier park in the country for amateur baseball, Lakepoint in Cartersville, Georgia. The two Team KY teams will play against other PBR state teams in a tournament style event. Last year's 13U team advanced to the semi-finals before losing a heart-breaker to Team Florida 6-5.
Every prospect's recruiting process starts and ends with the PBR Profile and our showcases revolve around that player profile. For first time attendees, a new PBR profile will be created, hosting all of your information, videos, head shot, metrics and more, making it one of your single most important tools in the recruiting process. Repeat showcase performances will continue to update your PBR profile, creating a history of prospect progress and ensuring the most up-to-date information is easily accessible throughout the fast-paced scouting community. These profiles are also searchable by a range of data points and metrics through our advanced search engine, making it a one stop shop for recruiters and scouts.
All showcase prospects will receive a numbered PBR jersey sponsored by our partners at Mizuno. The Mizuno Tee is the all around tee shirt for every activity, made from lightweight textured fabric, and used to identify prospects throughout the showcase process.
PBR stats are the industry standard in the scouting community, carrying the highest credibility in actionable data. PBR profiles are the most reliable resources for prospect information due to this reason alone. Stats are collected using only the highest of standard equipment including Brower laser timers, Trackman and Stalker radars. All stats are hosted in player profiles accompanied by recently launched Performance Tiers that show where a prospect ranks among his peers.
All prospect performances will be professionally video taped, edited and uploaded into their PBR Profile. Videos will consist of multiple angles and record all aspects of the showcase including 60’s, live batting practice, and defensive performances. Videos are hosted in PBR Profiles and used for video spotlights, content, social media and more. Videos are accessible to all PBR+ subscribers.
