Hunter Porter 1B / OF / Vauxhall , AB / 2021

Report: Porter is a physical 6-foot-4, 210-pounds that is strong throughout his proportional frame. There is strength in the hands and forearms, and is someone you notice getting off the bus. The carrying tool for Porter is the bat, where he hits from a quiet and balanced attack from the right side, with ability to drive the ball in the air and work gap to gap. The arm works and we can see Porter at a corner outfield spot and he does a have a feel for the bag at first as well. There is athleticism to work with as he runs fine with a 7.10 in the sixty.

Future: Big bodied right-hander hitter, Porter has the opportunity to really tap into his strength and be a middle of the order bat that can produce runs and hit the ball out of the ball park. The timing and pitch selection, as any high school hitter will need to improve but there is a lot to like with this prospect and we can see him being a viable option as he grows as a hitter as someone who is going to put up numbers at the net level.
