2026 Uncommitted Spotlight: INF Mayson Elam

With the summer coming to a close and we begin to transition to the fall with a brand-new school year, our focus is still on uncommitted prospects in the Classes of 2025 and 2026. As these prospects enter their final two years of high school, there are still many talented upperclassmen still on the market that may have been "overlooked" or are currently "flying under the radar" and looking for a place to play at the next level.

Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-10, 172-pounds. Lean build, athletic.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open with the feet, toe-tap trigger. Middle of the field approach with some tilt in the bat path. Creates torque in the lower half. 66.7 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 83.1 mph. 299' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-82 mph. Developing arm strength.
Defense: Occasional glove pat, good glove presentation.
ATH: 6.84 runner in the 60. 1.71 and 3.87 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 31.80 max vertical.
