March 11-16  AHSAA Players of the Week:

Players in the state continue to put up some impressive numbers as the season gets into full swing. There were some big time pitching performances and impressive offensive statistics put up this week. Take a look at our Players of the Week for March 4-9:

Skyler Hutto (2022, SS/RHP, West Morgan) The freshman was 7-10 on the week with 3 2B's, 1 3B to go along with 6 RBI's. He also scored 6 runs and had 4 BB while getting a win and a save on the mound. 

Brycen Parrish (2020, RHP, Wilson) The junior threw 10 innings on the week allowing 4 hits, walking 3 and only gave up 1 earned run. He also collected 18 K's. 

Rhett Lemay (2019, IF/RHP, Priceville) Lemay was 11-20 at the plate with 4 2B's and 3 RBI's. He scored 11 runs and and had 8 SB's. He also had 2 IP going 1-0 on the week allowing 1 hit and striking out 5.

Drew Gates (2021, C, Priceville) The sophomore was 10-18 at the plate with 1 2B, 1 3B and 10 RBI's. 

JT Etheridge (2020, RHP, Sweet Water) Etheridge threw 6 innings on the week allowing 5 hits with 13 K's and 0 BB's. He was 1-0 on the week. 

Chance Pollard (2019, OF, Charles Henderson) The senior was 6-12 on the week with 2 2B, 1 HR, 7 RBI and 5 runs scored. 

Lawson Scarbrough (2019, 3B/C, Charles Henderson) Scarbrough was 6-13 on the week with 2 2B and 2 HR while driving in 8 runs.

J.C. Stapp (2019, 3B/C, Tuscaloosa County) Stapp hit .500 on the week going 9-18 including 2 HR's and 12 RBI's. 

Tommy Vickers (2019, LHP, Central Phenix City) Vickers was dominant in his outing vs. Hewitt Trussville in a complete game win as he struck out 13 while only allowing 1 hit. He only issued 1 BB. 

Tyler Haines (2021, RHP, Central Phenix City) The sophomore Mississippi State commit was also dominant in a complete game win over Saraland. He did not issue a walk and only allowed 4 hits while striking out 8. 

Jackson Kimbrell (2019, LHP, Oak Mountain) The senior Ole MIss signee threw a masterful complete game win vs. Brirawood Christian. He went all 7 innings on the mound striking out 16. 

Caden Rose (2020, SS/RHP, Bob Jones) The junior Alabama commit was 12-21 on the week with 3 2B's, 1 HR and 8 RBI's. He also had 4 SB's on the week. On the mound he allowed no runs in 1 inning of work with 1 K while earning a save. 

Thomas Ballard (2021, RHP, Bob Jones) The sophomore right hander threw 8 innings on the week going 1-0. He had 5 K's and an ERA of 1.75 for the week. 

Trent Hodgdon (2021, RHP, Smiths Station) Hodgdon threw 9 innings during the week including a complete game win vs. Hewitt Trussville. For the week, he only allowed 3 hits while giving up 1 run and 2 BB's. He had 9 K's as well.

Zane Faulk (2020, C/OF, Smiths Station) Faulk continues his hot start to the 2019 season and multiple POW honors. He was 12-22 on the week with 4 2B's, 1 3B, 1 HR and 10 RBI's.
