Alabama Fall Prospect Games: Pitcher Reports

The Alabama Fall Prospect Games were held Sunday, October 24th at the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, AL. This event consisted of players ranging from the classes of 2022-2025. These players went through an extended pro-style workout, took batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion sensors. Pitchers were able to throw against hitters in simulated gameplay, and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit.
We conclude our post-event coverage today by taking a look at all of the pitchers that tossed an inning on the mound during game play.

Chris Billingsley, Bibb County (AL), 2023
Positional Profile: RHP/OF Is rapidly becoming one of the top uncommitted arms in the AL 2023 class.
Body: 6-2, 170-pounds. Athletic, proportional throughout the frame.
Delivery: Athletic leg-kick, tall and fall delivery down the mound, strides in-line.
Arm Action: RH. Loose, over-the-top slot.
FB: T89, 86-88 mph. Heavy arm-side sink, also cut at times. T2247, 2169 average rpm.

Eli Cannon, Corner (AL), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/RHP Interesting arm in the 2024 class.
Body: 6-0, 170-pounds. Lengthy frame with the ability to add strength and size.
Delivery: Athletic, tall and fall delivery, strides in-line, remains tall at release.
Arm Action: RH. Long, high 3/4 slot.

Taurus Ceasor Jr., Baker (AL), 2024
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP An interesting follow in the 2024 class.
Body: 5-8, 175-pounds. Proportional, sturdy frame. Has really developed over the last year.
Delivery: Up tempo, drop and drive lower-half with a repeatable delivery.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 arm slot, working across the body.

Cade Collins, Sparkman (AL), 2023

Body: 5-8, 145-pounds. Lean frame with plenty of room for added size.

We just released our Preseason All State events to be held before the high school season begins in January. This event has grown into a heavily attended event so this year we will have two different events with one being in the northern half of the state and the other to be held in the southern part of the state.
