LINCOLN-WAY EAST VS LOCKPORT - 4.19.18

By Drew Locascio
Illinois Scouting Director

Tom Louch, RHP, Lockport, 2018
St. Xavier commit. 5-foot-11, 180-pound, right-handed pitcher, strong lower half. Started on the mound for Lockport and went 4.2 innings, scattered four hits, one unearned run, struck out three and walked one. Clean and easy arm action from a high ¾ slot. Repeated delivery, worked with rhythm, gets rotational at times, occasionally spins off at finish. Fastball, thrown for strikes throughout, works mostly straight, occasional arm-side-run, sat 82-84 mph, touched 85. Curveball, good feel, went to it more as the game progressed, 12/6 shape and depth, 68-70 mph.
