The 6-foot-1, 193-pound Alabama commit and former Future Gamer made an immediate impact to start his senior campaign, going 4-for-9 with a home run and 5 RBIs. A proven run-producer, Johnson continues to refine his hit tool from the right side, building off a stellar junior season where he drove in over 60 runs and earned Class 7A Hitter of the Year honors. He shows advanced barrel awareness and a simple, efficient move to contact, routinely squaring up the baseball with authority. His power continues to trend upward, highlighted by a no-doubt three-run blast to dead center in his first at-bat of the season. Defensively, the athletic backstop features flexibility, arm strength, and the tools necessary to excel at the next level.
