+ C John Stowers (St. Paul’s Episcopal, 2026) proved why he's one of the top players in the state with a clutch, go-ahead grand slam in the 5th inning. The Auburn commit showcased a smooth yet powerful left-handed swing with excellent plate coverage, getting on base two additional times. His lower-half balance allowed him to stay on both fastballs and breaking balls, and his timing looked sharp early in the season. Defensively, Stowers was impressive behind the plate, consistently posting 1.9 pop times to second base between innings.
