Scouting Report

Goodheart is a 6-foot-1 180-pound infielder with an athletic frame and build. An advanced offensive player as a left-handed hitter. He starts with a balanced stance, with a smooth load, he attacks the baseball with a line drive swing and fast bat speed. He stays balanced throughout his swing and has an advanced feel for the barrel. Defensively he plays through the baseball with solid footwork. His actions have some stiffness to them, he has a quick exchange and an accurate arm. He runs a 6.60 in the 60. Overall Goodheart is an elite athlete with an advanced offensive game.

Goodheart started gaining traction as an elite player in spring of 2016 as he powered Magnolia to the 5A State Championship on the mound and as a catalyst at the top of the lineup offensively. He continued to drive offenses to Championships as he led the Texarkana Razorbacks to an American Legion National Championship.

Goodheart is a dynamic left handed hitter with advanced athleticism. He was recruited by several NCAA Division I and Division II colleges, he ultimately chose the NJCAA route signing with San Jacinto College. He had a solid fall, and is positioning himself as a draft prospect in 2018.
