Prep Baseball Arkansas Staff

The Arkansas high school baseball season kicks off on Mar. 3, opening day for regular season action under AAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Arkansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Our 2025 preseason coverage continues today.

Coach’s Insight: “Our team is built on experience and depth, returning eight position players from last season and bringing back our entire pitching staff. With a strong core that has already competed together, we have chemistry and confidence heading into the season. Many of our players gained valuable experience over the summer, sharpening their skills and facing top competition. This combination of continuity, talent, and hard work positions us for a strong and competitive year. One of our biggest challenges last season was limiting errors, which often put us in tough situations. This year, we've made defensive improvement a top priority, focusing on fundamentals, consistence, and situational awareness. While there's still work to be done, our emphasis on cleaner play and smarter decision-making should help turn this weakness into a strength.” – Cody Perrin, head coach
