Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Arkansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.
Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Coach’s Insight: “Defense should be a big strength this year. Returning 7 starters off of last year's team should bode well for us. Many of the kids can play multiple positions which will [be] huge. [We are] still gaining experience. Last year we had to replace 8 starters from the 2023 team. While we had many kids step in and do great, we were still very young experience wise. We started 3 Freshman and a few players without a lot of varsity experience. I felt we grew up as the season went on, but still lack a ton of veteran experience, especially in postseason. We are looking to gain valuable experience as the season goes on this year to use in the postseason. ” – Erik Bailey, head coach
