Arkansas Preseason All State: Quick Hits



After our winter season finale, we saw a bunch of high quality players from across the state. We take a look at some of the top performers from todays event in Central Arkansas. as we continue to break down the data, we will continue to highlight top performers from the event.

Landon Carter SS / 2B / North Little Rock, AR / 2025

A breakout performance all around. Landon showed elite bat speed with feel of the barrel to all fields with loud power. Easy actions in the middle and one of the top run times of the event, Carter will be a hot commodity sooner than later.

Jackson Kircher RHP / OF / Little Rock Christian , AR / 2024

With the firmest fastball of the event, Kircher showed pitchability with feel around the zone. His development continues as Kircher is a name to watch headed into the spring.

Kelvin Battles II SS / RHP / Sylvan Hills, AR / 2023

Athletic with arm talent Battles impressed in his bullpen and at the plate. Kelvin shows easy actions with strength and has room for more as he continues to fill out his frame.

Tate Collins OF / RHP / Little Rock Christian, AR / 2024

Big time pop in his batting practice to go with arm talent as well. Collins continues to impress and his physical strength gains were on display.

Jett Sutton RHP / OF / Marion, AR / 2023

Clean arm swing with feel for secondary stuff, Sutton showed a solid performance on the mound. Long frame with room for strength much to like as Sutton continues to develop.


Jaxson Ingle OF / LHP / Lonoke, AR / 2024

Legitimate two way talent. Pitchability with wipe out breaking ball to go with clean setup to hit and feel for the barrel. Ingle will have opportunities to do both at the next level.

Bryce Suiter RHP / 1B / Bentonville West, AR / 2024

Long lean frame showed two way potential in his workout producing back spin line drives as well as feel for multiple pitches in his bullpen.

Chris Hipps RHP / OF / Berryville , AR / 2024

An arsenal of pitches with feel for all of them, Hipps showed consistent feelin his pen. Continuing to grow Chris impresses with gains each time we see him.

Mason Morgan RHP / 3B / Camden Harmony Grove, AR / 2024

Physical frame with power at the plate. Morgan showed major control in his bullpen with an up-tempo delivery and high carry fastballs. Three pitch mix with consistency in the zone.

Levi Martin RHP / 3B / Pocahontas, AR / 2026

Physical strength plays. Martin possesses strength and it showed in batting practice and off the bump. Levi is a power bat with a power arm and will be a hot commodity as he continues to put up big numbers.

Cutter Colvert 2B / SS / Lonoke, AR / 2024

With the leading exit velocity over 100, Cutter impacts the ball with big time power. Improved fielding movements, Cutter is a bat that has control and power a rare commodity for young hitters.

Grayson Johnston C / OF / Maumelle, AR / 2025

Big time arm talent with power at the plate to go with it. Johnston showed off his arm all over yesterday posting big throwing velocities. He also showed big power with loud exit velocities.

Broc Mattox 1B / 3B / Benton, AR / 2025

Mattox will hit and continues to show why. With a consistent approach and length to the middle, Broc punishes the baseball. 

 

Xorian Robinson SS / OF / El Dorado, AR / 2025

Memphis commit, Xorian is always a good time. His infectious personality plays when he is working out as well. Clean mechanics in the infield and consistent barrels in batting practice, lots to like out of the Memphis commit.

Jake Reece 1B / RHP / Brookland, AR / 2025

Physical frame was on display with loud contact during batting practice. Reece is a strong body that will power the ball to all fields. Big things ahead for the right handed hitter.

 

Parker King OF / RHP / Valley View , AR / 2026

Consistent with the barrel and athletic in the field, King continues to impress each time we see him. Lean frame that will add strength a definite follow for the future.

Landon Holzhauer C / 3B / Fayetteville, AR / 2025

Catch and throw with advanced feel behind the plate. Consistent approach at the plate with easy swing producing line drives to the middle of the field.

 

Max Holland C / 2B / Conway, AR / 2026

Young catch and throw with a simple approach at the plate Holland is a catcher that has major upside. 

Casey Christ 2B / SS / Bentonville, AR / 2025

Christ is a hitter. His defense and movements have shown major improvement and Casey is one to watch as his bat plays with his short consistent stroke.

Gabriel Ellison SS / 3B / Russellville, AR / 2023

Continues to show easy actions and feel for the middle to go with an easy swing that produces line drives consistently in batting practice.

Noah Ragsdale 2B / SS / Valley View, AR / 2026

Ragsdale continues to show why he is one of the top players in a loaded class. Noah has consistent barrel feel and easy actions in the middle of the field.

Owen Roach OF / RHP / Valley View, AR / 2026

The bat plays and Roach continues to improve and fill out his frame. One to keep an eye on as he continues to develop into his freshman year.

Blaize Ward SS / RHP / Maumelle , AR / 2025

Simple repeatable swing with easy actions Ward continues to show the ability to control all fields with the bat. Easy actions in the field and arm strength to go with it Ward will continue to perform.

Zach Lawing 3B / 2B / Rogers, AR / 2025

Athletic and in his first event, Lawing impressed all over the field. Consistent swing with back spin line drives as well as clean actions in the field Zach showed a high ceiling.
