harding academy vs booneville

harding academy record: 27-3 Booneville Record: 16-7

MATCHUP:

Harding is the legit favorite to win another state title however the Bobcats have proven they have some firepower as well. This first round matchup will test the Wildcats as Brookland has proven to be able to matchup with top teams in the 3A. 

genoa central vs central arkansas christian

genoa central record:17-8 central arkansas christian record:14-9

MATCHUP: 

Genoa Central comes in hot having knocked off some big names throughout the season and its matchup against CAC proves to be a good one. CAC the winner of 3A-6 conference has the ability to put up offense. This matchup looks to be as good as any in the first round.

paris eagles vs rose bud

MATCHUP:

Could possibly be the best matchup in the first round as two title contenders matchup. One would think Duke walker, Missouri Commit will matchup with Rose Bud freshman Russ Martin who knocked off top seeded Walnut Ridge in round 1 of regionals. This pitchers dual could determine who could play Harding Academy with opportunity for a championship title.

episcopal vs prescott

episcopal record:9-13 prescott record:14-8

MATCHUP:

Pitchers dual again as Prescott and Episcopal both boast a solid pitchers staff. both teams have legitimate number ones and it will more than likely come down to who blinks first as this matchup looks to be a great round 1 matchup.

ashdown vs dewitt

ashdown record: 23-6 dewitt record:13-11

MATCHUP:

Ashdown has been at the top of the 3A for most of the season and Dewitt looks to wreck that in Round 1.Dewitt will look to use their offense to matchup but its a tall task given Ashdown's depth and consistency throughout the season.

elkins vs pangburn

elkins record:20-8 pangburn record:16-8

MATCHUP:

Elkins ran out of juice in the title game of regionals but the Elks have an older team that is poised to make a run. Pangburn creates a road block as they look to knock off the Elks. Finishing 3rd in regionals Pangburn is no slouch in the 3 seed.

palestine-wheatley vs harmony grove camden

palestine-wheatley record:15-12 harmony grove camden:15-11

MATCHUP:

After knocking off the #1 seed in regionals, Palestine Wheatley has been swinging hot bats and look to continue in the state tournament. Harmony Grove Camden knocked off a #1 seed as well in regionals so this matchup should bring plenty of excitement as both teams have had to fight to get to Round 1. 

manila vs danville

manila RECORD: 22-7 danville: 14-8

MATCHUP:

Manila has been strong all season but run into a Danville team that can compete with the best the 3A has to offer. Danville has proven to matchup with some of the top teams this season in conference and will give Manila a great effort. Manila is the 2 seed out of Regionals and has been strong all season.
