HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Matthew Liberatore, LHP, Mountain Ridge HS, AZ (Arizona)
Nolan Gorman, 3B, Sandra Day O'Connor HS, AZ (Arizona)
Jonathan Ornelas, SS, Kellis  HS, AZ (Tennessee)
Brennen Davis, OF, Basha HS, AZ (Tennessee)

OTHERS TO WATCH: An Oregon State signee and the son of former major leaguer Damion Easley, SS Jayce Easley (O’Connor HS, AZ) is one of the top athletes in his class and keeps getting better. He has a high waist and very thin frame, but that leaves tons of room in his quick-twitch body. He has the range that would allow him to stick at shortstop and his arm is at least average. He’s an absolute terror on base with plus-plus speed. Offensively, he shows solid bat-to-ball skills and surprising pop for his current frame. RHP Ian Mejia (Sahuarita HS, AZ) has had an up-and-down spring, but he has previously been up to 94 mph with projection remaining in his frame. He is committed to Arizona. RHP Troy Balko (Sunrise Mountain HS, AZ) was the 5A player of the year in the state. He was 88-90 with very little effort for much of the year and has big physical projection. The breaking ball is average, but projects to be plus. He is committed to Nevada-Las Vegas. RHP Chase Webster (Mesquite HS, AZ) is the biggest wild card in the state. He struggled for much of the year, often working in the upper 80s or a tick less at times, but flashed premium stuff in his final high school start. He was 92-94 with an 84-87 slider that flashed plus.
