PBR: Why did you choose Arizona?
Davis: I chose the University of Arizona because they have the same plans as I do… to compete for a national championship and help me improve my game to maybe one day play professional baseball.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Davis: Some of the other schools I was considering were Gonzaga, Oregon State, and Texas Tech.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
Davis: When I first met the coaching staff they saw me as a guy they wanted to bring into the family and our relationship really took off from there and ultimately led to my decision of commit to U of A.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
Davis: That’s a really tough question because so many people have impacted my life in a positive way, but my parents have helped me become the person I am today. They were always there for me and ready to drop anything at a moments notice to help me achieve my goals.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer/fall and what has that experience been like?
Davis: Currently I play club ball for the Arizona Athletics 16u team coached by Matt Palmer. My experience has been great, I feel like I have not only grown as a ball player in these past three years, but also as a person and that’s all thanks to Coach Gardner and Coach Palmer.

PBR: What impact do you see yourself making in your first season at Sunrise Mountain?
Davis: To be honest I don’t know on that on because I have to sit out nine games after transferring schools, but so far during the fall I have pitched and played outfield for Sunrise.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
Davis: My most memorable baseball moment would have to be playing in Cooperstown. We had a great week finishing fifth out of 99 teams and got to see the Baseball Hall of Fame.

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter you have faced in Arizona?
Davis: The toughest hitter I have faced in Arizona would definitely have to be Nolan Gorman, the kid is just a out standing hitter and is so fun to watch. Just for the record I got him to fly out. ?
