Coming off a great year, losing in the state title game to the Hamilton Huskies is the Chandler Wolves. While the Wolves will be rather young this upcoming season they are not a team to take lightly. Returning catcher and Phoenix College commit Mattix Meade is coming off a great 2022 season where he hit .329 with 3 doubles, a triple, 3 home runs and 24 RBI’s. While we are not yet aware of who will be starting on the mound for the Wolves we predict Jameson Harris and Zane Burns are likely candidates. In 2022 Harris had 3 appearances on the mound with a 6 ERA however has made major strides this offseason and is looking to make a big impact for Chandler this spring. The second man on mound is likely Zane Burns. Burns is no stranger to the PBR world as he is the #8 ranked prospect in the 2025 class. Burns made his first appearance of the spring at this past weekend's Upper Class Preseason All State event where he sat 85-86 topping 87 with dominant command. Burns was a standout in 2022 where he pitched for the 15U USA National team. In the outfield the Wolves are lead by returners Blake Heffron and Brody Matcuk. Heffron in his Sophomore campaign hit .304 with 6 doubles, 2 triples and a homerun. Matcuk who was a participant in this past years Future Games and this years Upper class Preseason All State had minimal time in the field his Sophomore season but is looking to make a big impact for the Wolves this spring. The Arizona Staff is looking forward to following the Chandler wolves as they go into their 2023 camplain.
