Rankings Insider: 2022 Shortstops

With the recent release of our Updated Class of 2022 AZ Player Rankings, our scouting staff took a deeper dive into the prospects in the 2022 class. By position, we will start to comb through the lists, highlighting some of the top talent in each class, and today we continue with some of the top uncommitted shortstops in the class. 

The updated rankings features a total of 22 primary shortstops in the top 100. Currently, there are no players at the position in the rankings  that are currently committed to DI schools. With shortstop being the premier position that it is, we would assume this will change in the near future. The Class of 2022 has a total of 5 commitments so far that includes Issac Araiza (San Diego State), Andrew Carroll(Arizona), Austin Humphres (Arizona State), Ethan Hott (Stanford) and TJ Adams (Arizona) who are all ranked nationally. Here are the reports of some of the top uncommitted shortstops in the class that one should keep an eye on going into the summer:
