Conner Raetzman 3B / Salpointe, AZ / 2023

The two-sport athlete and Minot State Football commit had a solid night at the dish going 2-4 with an RBI triple giving the Lancers the lead in the early goings. Raetzman has a wide stance in the box with his hands starting with pre loaded extension and a quick bat that worked flat through the zone. Raetzman showed a quality middle of the field approach in all of his ABs.

Joshua Burke 2B / SS / Salpointe Catholic, AZ / 2023

The uncommitted middle infielder was a standout in Tuesday nights game against Pueblo high school. While Burke is likely a second baseman at the next level, he showed above average hands and range up the middle at shortstop, with an accurate arm across the infield. At the plate Burke swing it from the left side with a wide balanced stance and direct path that produced consistent hard contact to the middle of the field.

Javier Arvizu SS / 2B / Pueblo, AZ / 2024

The standout performer for Pueblo with a 2-4 night at the plate with 4 RBI was junior middle infielder Javier Arvizu. Arvizu came up for Pueblo in numerous big spots with men on second and third and managed to produce in both at bats hitting hard shots down the right field line. At the plate Arvizu has a tall upright stance with a short direct path. He showed the ability to get to pitches at the top of the zone with good barrel control with his hands.

Brady Mitchell OF / Canyon Del Oro, AZ / 2025

One of the top uncommitted prospects in the 2025 class had a solid day at the plate for Canyon Del Oro going 2-2 with a double and a triple. Early on Mitchell worked a great at bat and shot one down the right field line for a bases clearing triple and followed it up with a deep shot to center field for a ground rule double. At the plate Mitchell has a wide balanced base with a light toe lift load, and long path that works flat through the zone with a high finish.

Michael Jones OF / Canyon Del Oro, AZ / 2024

One of the better pure athletes on the field for a solid Canyon Del Oro squad was right handed hitter and center fielder Michael Jones. Jones showed off his athleticism early when he hit this pitch deep to center field, giving a glimpse at his above average foot speed. In the box Jones has a slightly open stance with his weight starting on his back leg, he shows good timing with a light leg lift load and stays grounded in his backside, showing the ability to stay back on off speed.

Christopher Humphreys OF / SS / Canyon del Oro, AZ / 2024

Your standout player of the day for Canyon Del Oro on Wednesday afternoon was uncommitted corner infielder Chris Humphreys. Humphreys was 2-3 at the plate with 3 RBI's including a bomb over the right field wall. At the plate the left handed hitter has a wide base with a good balanced band in the knees, short toe lift load and a flat direct path. While Humphreys still has room for added strength and size he is a high follow for the Arizona staff.

Ryan Madsen 1B / Canyon Del Oro , AZ / 2024

The uncommitted 2-sport athlete and 6-foot-3 first baseman Ryan Madsen followed up teammate Chris Humphreys home run with one of his own, sending it deep over the left field wall. Madsen has a tall frame with a strong lower half. In the box Madsen has a narrow stance with a good bend in the knees. On this inside pitch he was able to keep the hands inside and drive it to the pullside with true spin.

Troy Sanders SS / 2B / Catalina Foothills, AZ / 2023

Grand Canyon University commit Troy Sanders was a standout from the time he took in n out on Friday night, in Catalinas much anticipated matchup against Tucson High. Sanders shows high athleticism up the middle with a clean glove, above average range and the ability to manipulate his arm action in his throws. At the plate Sanders went  2-3 with 2 RBI's including a crucial home run in his last at bat to extend the Falcons lead.

Kincaid Bergthold C / RHP / Catalina Foothills , AZ / 2023

The right handed hitter has a light bend in the knees at the plate with a slight toe tap load and direct path. Behind the plate Bergthold showed good actions with the glove receiving and a strong arm to the bases.

Juan Hernandez RHP / SS / Tucson, AZ / 2025

Uncommitted 2-way prospect Juan Hernandez was perhaps the most eye opening player on the field Friday night, when he stepped on the mound in the bottom of the 7th for the Badgers. While Hernandez is one of the starters for the Badgers, out of the pen he showed off a fastball sitting 86-88 topping out at 89 mph. While he only popped off acouple sliders at 74mph they came out of the hand well with late, sharp depth at 11/4 profile. Hernandez is a high follow for the Arizona staff as we get into the AIA playoffs and summer.
