BC Players With The Canadian Junior National Team

Eli Saul RHP / 1B / Prince of Wales, BC / 2019

Report: Saul is a talented right-handed arm from Vancouver  and recently committed to Sacramento State university in California. Sauli plays for the UBC Thunder and is listed at 6-foot-5, 205-pounds. It’s a three-pitch mix with his fastball 87-90 and has topped out at 91 with arm side run on it. He throws a slider which at time is an effective pitch but can be inconsistent. His changeup has a chance to be above average pitch and has some action that replicates his fastball. One of the top arms at T12, Saul has the opportunity to make an impact this trip with the National Team.

Joshua Walker SS / 3B / Lambrick park, BC / 2019

Report: Josh is from Victoria, BC and is uncommitted. He put his name on the radar at the Procase in May and continued to make a name for himself at the Canada Cup and T12 this past summer. Josh is 6-foot-1 and 170-pounds and can flat out fly. He ran a 6.77 at T12 and was 4.03 down the line and hit over .500 at the tournament and was named an all-star from our staff. There is bat speed from the left side with gap to gap power and is a reliable infielder with actions and athleticism on the dirt.

Carter Morris RHP / W.L. Seaton, BC / 2019

Report: Morris is from Vernon, BC and plays for the Okanagan A’s of the PBL. He committed to Sacramento State in California this fall. He is listed at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds and has lots of upside with a tall lean frame. He has a quick loose arm and natural run and sink to his ball. He ran his fastball up to 90 mph at T12 but has been as high as 92 this past summer in the PBL Final Four. His slider can be a devastating pitch and his changeup when on is an above average pitch.

Gavin Pringle RHP / NA, BC / 2020

Report: Pringle is from Cowichan Bay, BC and plays for the Victoria Eagles of the PBL.  An imposing figure standing in at 6-foot-2, 220-pounds, he has cleaned up his delivery this past year and he showed well at T12 with his fastball 86-88 mph and a CB at 70-71. Pringle is currently uncommitted and the 2020 grad looks to be a household name for the next years on the west coast.

Theo Millas RHP / Alpha Secondary, BC / 2020

Report: Millas is from Burnaby, BC and plays for the Langley Blaze, currently uncommitted, Millas is one of the top prospects in the country at 6-foot-4 180-pounds with an effortless, clean delivery. He pitches at 88-90 and has topped out at 91 with some arm side run. He secondary stuff is polished an advanced for his age as the slider shows swing and miss potential while there is feel for the changeup and a high compete level out on the field.

Justin Thorsteinson LHP / 1B / Langley, BC / 2020

Report: Committed to Oregon State, Thorsteinson is an imposing figure on the mound. He is 6-foot-4, 205-pounds with a clean delivery and repeatable mechanics. He had a strong T12 on the mound pitching at 86-88 mph and threw a few changeups which is his go to pitch. He is currently developing a slider to compliment his arsenal.

Loreto Siniscalchi RHP / Langley, BC / 2021

Report: Siniscalchi is the youngest member of the Junior National Team and he first came to the limelight for his performance against Japan at the Little League World Series, He pitched well at the PBR ProCase in May topping out at 87 mph but usually pitches 84-86 with natural cut on his ball and a sharp 12-6 shaped curveball. Siniscalchi is uncommitted and only one of two, 2021 grads to be named to the National Team.

Ryan Scott RHP / OF / Langley, BC / 2019

Report: Scott is a Sacramento State commit, listed at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds and is very athletic as he also plays on Team New Brunswick basketball team. He we will pitch 86-88 but has topped out at 90 mph this past summer while down at Oregon State in a tournament. Scott’s best pitch is a big 12-6 shaped curveball which has good depth while his changeup is developing with signs to be a quality pitch down the road.
