Scouting Report

2021 Outlook:
Look for Waters to of added size to his 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame and be someone that takes the next step in his development as he heads into his junior year. There is present tools to work with and we feel that Waters is knocking on the door to be one of the next "dudes" here in BC for the '22 class. There is recognition and bat speed working for him at the plate, while the actions defensively are going to play at numerous spots if need be. The run time is going to improve as the weight room becomes active and Waters is a guy where the numbers have a chance to make significant leaps over the course of 2021. We are excited to see where it is going to be and how it'll play, but know will be there to watch and report for the 4th ranked player in our '22 class here in BC.

Waters is one of the top middle infield players in his class from BC and is someone who has a chance to be impactful on both sides of the ball. The bat jumps out and the ability to use the middle of the field with present gap power. He uses a leg kick to load and works with an uphill path to contact. Defensively, there is arm strength across the diamond with feel to make plays. There can be more togetherness with the hands and feet, but Waters is an athletic player who will add more strength to his frame as he matures and gets older. We like the upside and believe he is poised for a big 2021.
