The 2025 California high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across California.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in their respective CIF Section Championship Game, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview these individual programs across California. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings.

BOTTOM LINE

With talent loaded up and down the roster the Panthers can be considered to be dominant in every facet of the game from pitching to offense to defense. They run out the #1 player in the Prep Baseball California/Prep Baseball National '25 rankings in Seth Hernandez then mix in the power stuff of Bingamin, Carlson, Gerfers just in their Sr. class and high level depth beyond them from the Jr./Soph/Fr. classes that can blow out opposing lineups making the Panthers beyond difficult to score runs against. On the opposite side of the game with the impact offensive profiles of Carlson, Ebel brothers, Murphy, Hernandez and high level talent in the supporting cast behind them trying to shut down Corona's offense will be a stiff challenge for any opposing staff. Plus for good measure they boast a pair of dynamic defenders at premium spots and are strong defensively at every spot on the diamond. What it all adds up to is a team that will be in the hunt to repeat their outstanding 2024 season.
