The 2025 California high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across California.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in their respective CIF Section Championship Game, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview these individual programs across California. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings.

+ Team Strengths: We will pitch very well and defend with the best of them. The offense will have above average speed throughout and the ability to be creative in scoring runs.

BOTTOM LINE

"With a pair of D1 arms fronting the rotation we should be one of the best pitching staffs around and with the depth we feature behind them I like what we can do on the bump. As well, we are going to play strong defense which combined with the staff is going to make it difficult to score runs against us. Our offense is going to be more dynamic and creative in how we attack putting up runs, we do have some thump, but the speed and athleticism we possess will be more of a focal point." - Coach Price

"One thing you can always count of from Foothill is their pitchers will attack hitters with above average changeups and velocity. This year should be no different with a pair of D1 arms at the top of the rotation and quality depth behind them. With nine returning positional players returning, the Knights are built to make another run at a league title and find themselves in the playoffs where anything is possible in a one-and-done format. The offense should once again be stout for the Knights with a number of quality hitters that can play many different styles of offense. If the Knights to make a deep run in the postseason, it will be because of their depth in the lineup and their quality arms." - Les Lukach
