We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview these individual programs across California. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings.

Please keep checking back throughout the season as we will be your one-stop shop for everything related to high school baseball across California. Each week we will be releasing our Power 25, Players of the Week, Diamond Notes, podcasts, and much more.

BOTTOM LINE

With are talented and experienced on the mound which will be key to our success in 2025. As well, returning a trio of All-Leauge players from 2024 and a 3 year starter behind the plate to bolster the talent on this roster which is athletic and going to play good defense I like our ability to be tough to score runs on. The key in the end will be how well our bats perform and the runs we can put up if we want to make another run in the playoffs. - Coach Osder

PREP BASEBALL CA STAFF’S TAKE

I'm a big fan of the Petaluma team going into this year, seems like another team that will rely heavily on the upperclassmen to get the job done. Arlo Pendleton is looking to lead the team at the plate and on the mound, should be an exciting year for him. Another interesting arm is 27' Cal commit Aiden Jones, who should be another talented pitcher for the Trojans. Last year Coach Osder led the team to a 17-10 record and lost in the quarter finals of the NCS.  With the hopes of his Senior heavy team, I think anything is possible, espcially with all the talent they return this season.
