BOTTOM LINE

Our 2024 squad was outstanding making it the title game of both the North Coast Section and North Regional which sets a big standard for the 2025 squad. As we enter the season I'm really intrigued by our pitching staff and what they should be able to do lead by Moseley and Knauer as our starters with a strong bullpen behind them. As well, with the depth and quality of our lineup from top to bottom we should be a difficult team to pitch to. - Coach Firenzi

PREP BASEBALL CA STAFF’S TAKE

The Giants are coming off their best season as a program in the last 34+ years by winning 28 games and reaching the title game of the North Coast Section and the North Regional, but fell in each game still producing a tremendous campaign. Losing a pair of key pieces of that squad will challenge the Giants, but the talent returning especially on the mound will put them in contention for another strong season. Plus add in quality offensive pieces up and down their lineup like Theo Trono and his .453 average last year there is plenty of reasons to anticipate the program not only contending for another league title, but eyeing a run in the playoffs come May - Steven Hardesty Assistant Scouting Director
