The 2025 California high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across California.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in their respective CIF Section Championship Game, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview these individual programs across California. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings.

WE HAVE A BALANCED LINEUP, ONCE WE GET THE SEASON GOING WE ANTICIPATE OUR HITTERS WILL BE A BIG PART OF HELPING US WIN A 3RD STRAIGHT SOUTH COAST LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP. - Coach Nieto

PREP BASEBALL CA STAFF’S TAKE

With a good mix of returning players back from a league championship team, Tesoro seems primed for another run at a title in 2025. With a core group of returning starters, along with the addition of RHP Corwin Allard, the Titans rotation will be amongst the best in the South Coast League if not all of Orange County. Despite past success this team plays with a chip on their shoulder and look to wear down the other team. The lineup is balanced and they make pitchers work to earn their outs. There's depth to the entire roster for Tesoro, and with six projected starting juniors, both the present and the future are bright for the Titans. - Les Lukach
