BOTTOM LINE

With a lineup highlighted by one of the top '26 players in the country providing LH thump to go with talented offensive players throughout including another '26 on the rise, plus plenty of team speed the offense could be a dynamic piece of the success for the squad in 2025. The pitching staff is deep with numerous high quality arms who could be versatile enough to start or strengthen the bullpen. Defending a title is never easy, but the talent on this years squad put the program in a good spot. - Coach Greer

PREP BASEBALL CA STAFF’S TAKE

University City are returning five of their top seven offensive performers based on batting average. They also add Tennesee commit and Prep Baseball All-American AJ Curry. Their lineup will be anchored by ultra-utility man Joshua Kaplan, SS Jayden Parker, 1B/OF/LHP AJ Curry, transfer OF/RHP Nolan Nunes and more returners, including Thy, Kolakovsky, and Zucker. They lost a lot of innings due to graduation, but by adding Curry and Nunes, Thiago Quillen (49 innings, 0.71 ERA) will have help. UC has depth in the bullpen and plenty of underclassmen looking to carve out roles on varsity.
