FRESNO, CALIF. - As an open event, this was conducted as a straight traditional showcase, though due to space contraints of the indoor facility, players ran a 30 yard dash (with 10 yard split), BP round (with Blast Motion sensors and TrackMan), defensive workouts, and pitchers ending the day on the mound throwing 15-20 pitch sessions.

Logan Aguilar, Patrick Henry (CA), 2024

Physical
: 6-2, 165-pounds; 4.02 30-yard, 27.1” max jump height; Long body, lean lithe wiry body type, lanky proportions to add size and strength as he matures.
Offensively: LH. EV max – 90.0 mph, hand speed max – 21.9 mph, bat speed max – 64.0 mph; Even feet, back foot slightly angled to catcher, hands start deep, starts vertically stacked in slight sitting crouch, medium depth load straight back, medium knee lift out to medium stride, sinks into back side as he strides, whippy lively stroke, stays consistently on-plane at high level, as he gains strength the swing is present to develop into an offensive LHH middle-infielder.
Defensively: SS – 84 mph; Quick feet, walks into prep position, somewhat small choppy steps on way to closing on ball (could certainly have been the indoor scenario with minimal room/time to approach ball), plays low to and through ball, puts nose on it and willing to dig out a tough play, occasionally tips over which can happen given his height, plays fast, loose quick arm, tools are there and some slight refinements to smooth out the footwork can be a positive development.

Offensively: RH. EV max – 91.2 mph, hand speed max – 21.6 mph, bat speed max – 67.8 mph; Smooth timing mechanisms, small reverse move with heel lift, hands start deep then slight load, sturdy side base, consistently on-time, stays on plane to and through pitch, finishes back hip, controlled two hand finish with feel of barrel through extension.
Defensively: SS – 81 mph; Early prep into legs, works low to and throw ball, quick release from each receiving position, sets up with sound footwork on each of the plays, gains ground, soft hands, presents as a well above average fielder.

John Micah Cervantes, St. Francis SCP (CA), 2024

: 5-8, 160-pounds; 4.01 30-yard, 22.9” max jump height; Compact body on smaller frame with athletic proportionality.
Offensively: LH. EV max – 92.7 mph, hand speed max – 22.8 mph, bat speed max – 66.5 mph; Narrow feet slightly open with pinched toes, taller set-up, hands high at head height, elbows close together, small load over left shoulder, twitchy swing, short and quick, gets barrel into zone quickly with high efficiency, medium knee lift out to longer stride, loose quick hips, whippy life to swing.
Defensively: SS – 81 mph; Calm prep with little bounce, wider feet, reads quickly with confident direct angles, closes on ball with urgency but not in a hurry, soft hands, quick funnel to waist, feet quickly in position to get ball out quickly, athleticism to throw on move and from different arm angles, presents as a well-above defender at this level which projects positively beyond HS.
Adam Delgado, Kerman (CA), 2024

: 6-0, 180-pounds; 4.11 30-yard, 23.6” max jump height; Athletic build, lean strength in legs, room in somewhat broad upper body for more size and strength.
Offensively: LH. EV max – 90.0 mph, hand speed max – 20.2 mph, bat speed max – 63.4 mph; Slight crouch in open set-up, hands off body, feet shoulder width, back knee engaged early, high knee lift out to longer stride, stays strong on back leg, medium load, back elbow starts high before connecting to back hip, aggressive swing with intent, displayed strong ability to stay on-plane through contact, stroke to produce extra base hits, approach to put ball in air and ability to do so.
Defensively: SS – 81 mph; Steps quietly into ready position, gets into legs early, reads ball and creates early angle, bounces around athletically with light feet, funnels to mid-section before getting to transfer and quick arm release from a higher slot, uses and trusts athleticism to play quickly on the move.

: 5-9, 175-pounds; 4.10 30-yard, 24.2” max jump height; Compact body type with strength on average size frame, muscular through legs w/shoulder strength as well.
Offensively: RH. EV max – 92.3 mph, hand speed max – 19.9 mph, bat speed max – 67.6 mph; Feet outside shoulders slightly open, slight crouch with pinched knees, hands start over backside, small load and compact to ball, short powerful stroke, small foot lift toward plate, back foot and front foot switch alignment as swing finishes, puts nose on ball, stays on-plane as he chases barrel through contact, stroke tailored for CF/RF hard contact, physical use of core, short two handed finish, doesn’t need ‘his’ pitch to make impact contact, hitterish is an apt term for him.
Defensively: SS – 81 mph; One step into low ready position, chops feet as he’s reading the play, fields out front before funneling to mid-section, sound glove skills, gritty defensively presence with tools likely tailored best for 2B as he moves toward baseball after the high school level.

Estevan Hernandez III, Redwood (Visalia, CA), 2025

: 5-8, 142-pounds; 4.00 30-yard, 23.1” max jump height; Lean sinewy body composition on average/smaller frame.
Offensively: RH. EV max – 82.7 mph, hand speed max – 20.2 mph, bat speed max – 63.5 mph; Even feet outside shoulders, hands start deep over back knee and off the body with slight bat waggle, stretches a little deeper in load while firing from a higher slot, small reverse toe tap to minimal stride, works hard to get inside ball with knob leading, stayed on-plane well to contact, high two hand finish as weight rolls outside stride foot which is indicative of some strong shoulder rotation, has swing attributes and talent to develop a high contact rate stroke through middle of the field.
Defensively: SS – 75 mph; Light feet he keeps active in pre-pitch set-up, sets up on the high side on balls at him and to forehand, drops right foot on backhand, strong fundamental techniques with feet, fields out front with hands and keeps glove off body in transfer, gets rid of ball fairly quickly though there is an extra footstep he can work to eliminate.
Cole Martinez, El Diamante (CA), 2025

: 5-11, 165-pounds; 4.26 30-yard, 20.4” max jump height; Lean wiry strength on athletic build with proportionality.
Offensively: RH. EV max – 80.1 mph, hand speed max – 20.0 mph, bat speed max – 60.6 mph; Feet outside shoulders in even set-up, slight crouch, small load over back knee, medium high knee lift out to medium stride, lifts backside out of pre-pitch set-up, rolls outside stride foot as swing finishes with high two hand finish, on-plane w/barrel, gets into zone quickly and stays through contact, efficient stroke which projects well for him as he gains strength and physically matures.
Defensively: SS – 66 mph; Traditional base/set-up, has some lateral quickness with footwork, lays back a bit on ball at him, sets up on high side on ball at him which allows quick step inside to get rid of it, somewhat rigid actions, longer arm stroke with raw arm strength which projects best at 2nd base.

Offensively: LH. EV max – 92.4 mph, hand speed max – 22.5 mph, bat speed max – 65.9 mph; Slightly open with feet outside shoulders, rhythmic hands start over shoulder before moving slightly lower and back into load, fires hands quickly and easily, gets into backside with smooth knee lift, transitions out to longer stride, sees ball early and directs stride to location of pitch, collides with barrel at out front contact, short to ball with line drive stroke that stays on-plane, gaps/extra base hit type stroke, trusts hands and can adjust to pitches in different locations, capable of hitting for high average and production.
Defensively: SS – 82 mph; Deep sink into legs with feet shoulder width in prep set-up, gets below ball and stays low through reception, keeps head/eyes up, funnel to mid-section before transfer, footwork was clean, presents as a steady fielder with some playmaking ability, moved ably into position to get off lower slot throw, most comfortable throwing with higher slot.

: 6-2, 185-pounds; 4.06 30-yard, 24.9” max jump height; Lean strength throughout well-proportioned athletic build.
Offensively: RH. EV max – 91.4 mph, hand speed max – 23.1 mph, bat speed max – 72.5 mph; Slightly open, back knee pinched, hits out of slight crouch, gets to a deep load, early quick bat waggle over shoulder, small quick rhythmic movements in box pre-pitch, small stride, quiet head through aggressive stroke which stays consistently on-plane, drives back side through contact as back foot releases from ground, flashes the bat speed to develop gap type power and a confident demeanor with aggressive intent.
Defensively: SS – 84 mph; Hops into ready position, light feet, plays low to and through ball, focused intent with confidence in glove skills, sees ball into glove, gets rid of ball with quick release and a fast arm, presents as capable of playing any of the three INF spots.

Offensively: RH. EV max – 91.4 mph, hand speed max – 19.6 mph, bat speed max – 67.1 mph; Off the plate deep in the box, slightly open with feet just outside shoulders, early barrel tilt with hands off body over the back knee at shoulder height, slight crouch, smooth gliding stride with some length, closes off stride, smaller load straight back, some length on backside before getting into the zone, stiffens legs at contact, has power and ability to create bat speed, two hand finish with barrel below hands, had a number of balls hit over 90 mph, mechanics suggest an ability to handle the ball away and drive ball the opposite way with some power.
Defensively: SS – 81 mph; Low into crouch before a small prep hop, feet shoulder width in pre-pitch set-up, stable lower half, stays below ball well on plays to each direction, fields ball cleanly off the body, footwork allows him to get ball out quickly without efficient footwork.
Reynaldo Cruz, Selma (CA), 2026

: 5-1, 105-pounds; 4.63 30-yard, 21.1” max jump height; Smaller at present with even proportions, lean body type.
Offensively: RH. EV max – 72.6 mph, hand speed max – 15.3 mph, bat speed max – 51.9 mph; Feet shoulder width, hands start back early with vertical barrel, loads straight back as he uses reverse slight toe tap before getting out to medium stride, on-plane to contact, some tip of the head and top hand gets over ball through contact into high two hand finish at times and one hand release also showing up, ball up and in was spot he seemed most comfortable with.
Defensively: SS – 68 mph; Early into athletic legs, confident in his glove hand, creates clean angles, quick release while playing confidently on the move, displays body control of an athlete, clean footwork.
Ethan Quintana, Buhach Colony (CA), 2026

: SS/OF
Physical
: 5-10, 150-pounds; 4.03 30-yard, 25.4” max jump height; Lithe body, long legs, average size frame.
Offensively: RH. EV max – 83.5 mph, hand speed max – 18.9 mph, bat speed max – 60.1 mph; Hands held high, medium width feet, quiet head through swing, loads from higher set into lower slot straight back, long stride, displayed barrel control, aggressive swing and some traits that will serve him well as he gains strength.
Defensively: SS – 70 mph, OF – 74 mph; Walks steadily and confidently into prep position, creates clean angles both in INF and OF mechanics, infield set-up has him fielding ball on the high side with ability to step inside and get throw off quickly, smooth to backhand and forehand, light feet, fields ball off his left foot in OF drill.
