Delivery: Good hand separation, with solid downhill drive. Uses his frame well to maximize hip and shoulder separation creating deceptive arm slot and late movement on FB and slider.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action but very well timed delivery. Fingers stay behind the ball well on both pitches to give him high spin rate numbers.
FB: T83, 81-82 mph. Good late tail on FB thrown with impressive gains in 1 year has gained 7-8 mph.
SL: 70-73 mph. Very tight rotation and late movement thrown with similar delivery and release as fastball making it effective.

Arm Action: RH. Low separation, with a long reach back and quick downhill turnover. Stays tall well which allows him to get over his front side.
FB: T80, 77-79 mph. Works well with his 4-seam fastball above the belt to compliment a 12/6 curveball.
CB: 67-70 mph. Good depth and speed change from his FB and will miss a lot of barrels when he gets the spin rate over 2100, currently able to spin at 1950.
CH: 67-69 mph. Good minus pitch with room to grow.

CB: 64-65 mph. Plays much slower than fastball (on average 14 mph slower) but from the same arm slot. Had hitters out front and the 12/6 downward movement made it very effective.

Arm Action: LH.  Really gets out over his front and releases the ball well in front of his front foot. Delivery is quick which makes his upper half rotation very late, can be sneaky-quick especially as he develops strength and size.
FB: T79, 76-78 mph. Natural late arm side run. Works downhill and commands the bottom half of the zone.
CB: 66-69 mph. 2135 average spin rate to go with a 12/6 action. Can locate for strikes and use it for a put away pitch.

Body: 6-2, 190-pounds. Strong torso and traps, athletic.
Delivery: Front facing windup, high leg kick with his foot tucked under. Clean and smooth downhill drive.

CB: 65-70 mph. Used effectively up in the zone as he got swings and foul balls.
CT: 71-74 mph. Smaller break, more resembling a small slider with minimal depth.

Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Average athletic body type, still approaching full physicality.

Delivery: Stretch, hands set at belt, leg lift just under waist high. Small arm circle at separation getting to his scap load quick. Sits on his back side landing on a stiff front leg.

FB: T73, 69-72 mph. Will attack hitters early. Has the ability to locate to both side of the plate.
CB: 61-33 mph. Has good downward tilt. Has the ability to induce a lot of ground balls.

Sebastian Gonzalez, 2023

FB: T86, 83-85 mph. Natural arm side run with added depth. Commands both sides of the plate. Induces ground balls.
CB: 70-72 mph. Can locate early in the count for strikes or use as a put away late. A mix between long and loopy to nice and tight. Mixes pitches depending on the situation.

Miles Lu, 2023
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 5-11, 155-pounds.Good athletic frame that will fill out over the next few years.
Delivery: stays tall and over the rubber with a chest high leg kick from the windup. Stays connected up to front foot contact. Strong, healthy and repeatable.
Arm Action: RH. Good arm circle down into a whippy over the top release point.
FB: T80, 77-80 mph. Worked both sides of the plate consistently getting ahead. Has late depth that gives him the ability to pitch for ground balls.
CB: 67-69 mph. Has a frisbee effect that has a hard bite with a big bend.
SL: 73-74 mph. Shorter and tighter than the curveball. Keeps hitters honest and gives them a different look.

Massimo Richiuso, 2023
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 5-11, 195-pounds. Compact and well-proportioned physique, muscular build.
Delivery: Very straightforward and balanced delivery. Consistently displayed body control and a balanced finish. Does not generate a lot of side to side torque, but will flash exceptional strength up and down.
Arm Action: RH. Quick downward separation into a scap load with his elbow up. He has a high arm slot and gets his fingers behind the ball well allowing him to add spin, speed, and late movement efficiently.
FB: T86, 83-85 mph. Maxed his spin rate at 2359 and averaged 2234. Good command and located on both sides of the plate.
CB: 75-78 mph. It’s thrown hard like a slider or cutter but falls off at about 48 feet. Very good out pitch and commands it in or out of the zone when necessary.
CH: 79-80 mph. His CH is not a lot slower than his fastball but effective as he recreates his FB arm slot and extension and creates less spin and more downward movement.

Calvin Schaaf, 2023
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-3, 180-pounds. Tall athletic frame.
Delivery: simple stretch. Pre-loaded belt high set position. Windup stays simple too. Small step towards 1B leg lift and upper body slightly crunch. Lands on a strong stiff front leg getting out past his front foot at release.
Arm Action: RH. Strong over the top.
FB: T85, 80-84 mph. Lively fastball that gets on hitters. Has an above average spin rate of 2018 and has maxed out at 2170. Can command to both sides of the plate.
CB: 66-69 mph. 12/6 action with an average spin rate of 2596. The above average spin causes his curveball to have a strong bite that most hitters won’t expect causing them to be consistently late.
CH: 75-77 mph. Mimics arm speed and release point of his fastball with and average minus of 8-10 mph.

Jackson Short, 2023
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 5-8, 170-pounds. Strong legs.
Delivery: Windup: Starts a bit open, he rocks his glove down and front foot steps back into a double tap. From there he moves quickly into a high leg kick with the glove and ball out over his thigh. Once again quickly starts downhill with glove-side attacking the zone and gets the ball up high behind his head. From there everything is downhill and fast. His front leg extension after release is good as he gets his chest over his front foot.
Arm Action: RH. Low separation into a tight circular arm swing. He does well to get the ball high with his hand still in good position as he starts his downhill movement and rotation. The ball often looks like it shoots out from right next to his ear.
FB: T82, 80-82 mph. Consistent numbers on trackman and high spin count for his FB. Showed trust when ahead in the count that he will locate inside and challenge the hitter at the top of the zone.
SL: 67-70 mph. Command early in the count and flashed some versatility with this pitch throwing it aggressively in different counts. Seems comfortable enough to also challenge inside to a RHH (spin rate maxed out at 2630 at this event, averaged 2335, and earlier this year touched 2800+).
CH: 68-71 mph. Displayed command of his changeup often starting it over the heart of the plate and allowing it to run down and in to a righty’s back foot.

Cam Staton, 2023
Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 6-0, 175-pounds.Strong athletic build with a solid lower half.
Delivery: Creates good rhythm with his hands and lift leg that keep him connected throughout his delivery.  Separates over the rubber into a strong/healthy scap load. Front foot lands slightly open (when this is cleaned up he will see a jump in velocity).
Arm Action: LH. Works just below the belt back up to a tight scap load that circles out to a 3/4 to a high-3/4 slot.
FB: T82, 77-81 mph. Velocity plays higher than shown on paper due to his elevated spin rate of 2170 on average. Works on a solid downhill plane. Has the ability to miss bars up in the zone.
CB: 67-69 mph. Big break high spin rate (2206) put away pitch that can be thrown early for strikes.

Joshua Volmerding, 2023
Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 6-3, 165-pounds. Long and lean, lanky proportions, plenty of room to gain size and strength as he physically matures.

Arm Action: LH. High set with high separation. Brings ball to knee and back up to straight over the top. Has a high-3/4 slot that untapped.
FB: T80, 78-80 mph. Above average spin rate of 2158. Pounds the zone early and often. Will utilize both sides of the plate. Late sneaky movement.
