2019 Outlook:

After bowing out early in the playoffs, Coach Highstreet has high expectations for this years Eagles team. Highstreet expects them to finish near the top of their league and hopes to be in contention to win the League crown come the end of the season. The Eagles will look to create havoc and put pressure on opposing defenses with their team speed being one of their biggest assets. '19 MIF/RHP Daniel Rosell should be a catalyst with '21 1B/3B Isaac Quihuis and '21 SS/3B Andrew Gamez sitting in the middle of the lineup looking to do damage. Coach Highstreet also speaks highly of the defense he will put out there, which will keep them in ball games and support whoever ends up on the mound. If the Eagles are going to make a deep run in their league and playoffs, they will need their young unproven pitcher to step up and pitch some big innings. The great defense the Eagles should field will help to alleviate some of the pressure on the pitching staff. Offensively, look for the Eagles to try to limit their strikeouts and up their contact rate so they can put their plus team speed to use. If the young Eagles can find consistency and make the pieces fit they can be a legit contender come playoff time.
