State Scouting Director

2020 RHP/INF Max Rajcic of Orange Lutheran High School (Orange, CA) has been named this week's Prep Baseball Report SoCal Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performance on the mound and at the plate for the Lancers last week.

Orange Lutheran has had a fantastic season having won the National High School Invitation and clinching their first Trinity League title in six seasons and Rajcic's contributions are a big reason why. The No. 3 ranked player in the PBR California Class of 2020 Rankings, Rajcic has proven his value on both the mound and at the plate for the Lancers this season.

Rajcic, a two-way player for OLu, had a very good week against rival Mater Dei last week. In his start on the mound the sophomore went 5.2 innings pitched allowing only one hit, walking three, and striking out nine while not allowing a run. He got the no decision as the game went into extra innings. At the plate, Rajcic was equally as impressive on the week going 3-for-8 with an RBI and 4 runs scored.

For his efforts, Rajcic has been named the Prep Baseball Report SoCal Player of the Week for the week of April 30 - May 6.

The Prep Baseball Report salutes Rajcic''s hard work and success.
