At the plate he operates from a open stance, with a glide keeping weight on back leg. Is a pull hitter, does drop at times, but also has a smooth left-handed swing. From the outfield hit 75 mph on the gun for outfield velo. Has a longer motion, ¾ arm angle, makes accurate throws with carry on the ball. Shows average hands, fluid footwork and a clean exchange. Stays behind the ball nicely and shows good athleticism.

1/5/2019 - SoCal Preseason All State (outfield) - 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Has a medium frame, young body. Started the day off running a 7.97 60-yard dash. At the plate operates from an open set-up, with a high leg kick taller at the plate. Has a longer stride, uses a leg kick for timing. From the outfield had a velo of 75 MPH. Has a longer motion with a ¾ arm angle, makes accurate throws and has carry. Good athleticism, average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and plays through balls with athletic actions. Does a nice job of getting his body behind the ball, and use his lower-half on his throws.

1/5/2019 - SoCal Preseason All State - 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Has a medium frame that is strong and athletic. He started the day by running a 7.03 60-yard dash. At the plate operates from an open stance deep in the box, hands are by the back shoulder active and very loose. Slight leg kick with a good bat path, simple load, nice smooth compact left-handed swing, turns on pitches nicely, present line drive hitter with some power projection. From the outfield had a velo of 81 mph. He has a longer over-the-top arm slot, makes accurate throws with a strong arm. He shows average hands, quick and fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and he plays through the ball getting his body behind his throws.

1/5/2019 - SoCal Preseason All State - Six-foot-1, 167-pounds. Has a medium/larger, tall, lean wiry strong frame, young body that should continue to add strength. He started the day off with a 7.37 60-yard dash. At the plate he operates from a slightly closed stance, has a high leg kick for balance, and a longer stride. Does a nice job keep weight on back foot, a lot of movement, at times drops shoulder causing a dip. From The outfield he registered a velo of 75 mph. Has a longer motion, throwing from a ¾ arm angle. He makes accurate throws, does have some carry on the ball. Has average hands, average footwork, clean exchanges and plays through the ball.

Giving him the 2nd best 60 of the day. Has quick feet and a medium stride, with natural speed. From the plate has a slightly open stance that is crouched, shows good use of lower-half. At times dips his back shoulder resulting flyballs. From the outfield has a shorter motion, with a ¾ arm angle. Registering an outfield velo (75) mph. Makes accurate throws average hands, good athletic footwork, and does a nice job getting behind the ball.

1/5/2019 - SoCal Preseason All State - Five-foot-11, 165-pounds. Has a medium frame with some strength in the upper half; athletic body. Started the day off running a 7.11 60-yard dash. Operates from a slightly open stance, with a simple stride. Has a load to keep weight on back leg with a simple stride. From the outfield has a longer over-the-top throwing motion, registering a 74 mph velocity. He does make accurate throws as his ball has carry, does nice job playing thru. Has average hands, athletic footwork, and an average exchange.

Operates from a slightly open stance, with a simple stride. Has a level and compact swing. In the outfield he registered a velo of 73 mph. Has a longer throwing motion ¾ arm angle, makes accurate throws and has carry on the ball. Has average hands, fluid footwork, with a clean exchange, and plays thru. Does a nice job with his crow hop and using his lower half.

He started the day registering a 7.37 60-yard dash. From the plate he operates from a straight away stance, hands are by back shoulder with a wider base and a shorter stride. From the outfield Shupe registered a velo of a 74 mph. He throws from a shorter motion and a ¾ arm angle. He makes accurate throws and has carry on the ball. Has average hands, fluid footwork, and consistent, clean exchanges. He plays thru getting body behind the ball, and shows good athleticism.

At the plate he operates from an open stance, with a leg kick trigger. Does a good job using his lower-half, as he has a consistent bat path to the ball with extension through it driving the ball to all fields on a line. From the outfield his velo was 71 mph. Has a longer throwing motion, with a ¾ arm angle. He does make accurate throws, with average arm strength. Has average hands, average footwork, and a longer exchange.

From the plate operates from a slightly open set-up, with a toe-tap trigger. Very active at the plate with a nice, compact swing. From the outfield has a longer throwing motion from a ¾ arm angle. Has average arm strength, making accurate throws. Shows good footwork, with average hands and clean exchanges. Shows good athleticism, and does a nice job getting body behind the ball through to release.

He started the day off running a 6.97 60-yard dash, that was good enough for the 8th best time of the day. From the plate operates from an open set-up with a leg kick trigger. Blocher is very tall at the plate, with very active hands. From the outfield has a ¾ angle arm motion. Registering an outfield velo of 75 MPH. He makes accurate throws, and showed carry on ball. Shows average hands, average footwork and plays through the ball. Showed good athleticism in the outfield taking the proper first step and funnels balls out front.

From the plate he operates from an open set-up using a toe tap trigger. Good use of the lower half that helps him drive the ball on a line. Did drop hands at times resulting in a uppercut. From the outfield he throws from a ¾ arm slot. He registered an outfield velo of 78 MPH. He showed average arm strength with average hands. Plays through the ball showing good athleticism showing average arm strength, throws did have some carry on the ball.

1/5/2019 - SoCal preseason All State (outfield) - Five-foot-10, 160-pounds. Medium size frame, is strong and athletic with room to add muscle and mass to his long lean frame. Started the day off running a 7.38 60-yard dash. From the plate operate from an open setup, with a smooth load and a leg kick, and a medium/longer stride. Uses his lower half well; explodes through the ball. Showed quick hands in BP, good present contact hitter with some power projection. At times did drop hands resulting in a slight uppercut. From the outfield throws from a longer motion registering a 79 mph OF velo. Throwing from an over- the-top arm-slot, has a strong and accurate arm, consistently making throws that were accurate. Shows athleticism in the outfield with longer strides. Has soft hands, quick footwork making clean exchanges, and does a nice job getting behind the ball to use his whole body.
